Description: Great Maxi MK3 Sub from Arabia.
The case is in very good condition. It has been polished in the past, but carefully and with beautiful results. The lugs are full wit sharp edges and a perfect matte finish on the top of the case. There are minor signs of wear, but of course no deep scratches, dents or anything like that.
The Submariner dial is in top condition and a real highlight. Not only is it the rare and demanded MK3 variant, in which the indices were printed closer to the minute scale, thus creating the well-known “lollipop” effect, but the lume has also taken on a wonderful patina, which further enhances the effect and makes it looks great. The hands, just as the dial, are in great condition, with a consistent patina to the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp and the inlay is a great MK4 inlay with light signs of wear, an even tritium pearl and light patina into the blue.
This great Maxi MK3 Sub comes with box and papers from Arabia. It has been sold on March 12, 1981 in Saudi Arabia.
The 93150 Oyster bracelet is great, just as the watch, with no significant signs of wear and almost no stretch. It has all links and with clasp code H for 1983, it is slightly younger than the watch.
Conclusion: Great 5513 Maxi Submariner with powerful charisma and top provenance.
