Beautiful Ulysse Nardin Chrongraph with moon phase in yellow gold from Germany. Normally i only offer watches from my three core brands but this beauty was just too nice to pass. Why? A beautiful yellow gold chronograph in great condition, offered as a full set for a price that is just great. Where else you can find a watch with such nice features for that price. The 39mm yellow gold (18 carat) case is in unpolished condition. All proportions, all edges and the total shape are just right. Signs of wear are present but this watch was cherished over the last 30 years. The cream dial is in perfect condition without any imperfections. I also love the contrasting silver subdials with their guilloche. The hands are perfect too. The caseback, including saphir crystal is in the same fine quality as the watch and it offers a wonderful view on the movement. It’s a lemania based chrono movement (same as used from Patek), that has been updated by Ulysse Nardin. I love the rhodium plated parts and the Breguet balance. This nice and rare watch is offered as a full set from Germany. It was sold 07.02.1995 from Juwelier Nonhoff in Münster. It’s also great that the original purchase receipt is part of the set. Beside the original papers and purchase receipt the buyer will also receive two boxes. The original box from the 90s and a more modern one because the original box shows the typical defect on the leather that allmost all boxes from the 90s show and so the original owner decided to purchase a proper one to store the watch. The leather strap is the original Ulysse Nardin strap from the 90s and off course the buckle is also original to the watch, manufactured in 18 carat yellow gold.
Conclusion: A very cool watch with the right mixture of sporty and classy for a top price.
