It screams vintage. A fine 16750 GMT-Master with a dial patina that makes you melt (especially in this heat ^^).
The case is in good condition. Yes, it has been polished and the watch has clearly been worn. Nevertheless, the proportions are fine, the edges are sharp and the matte finish on the top of the case is excellent.
However, the case is absolutely secondary with this watch. What follows is the reason to buy it.
I’ve decided to call this dial the “silly grin” dial. Why? Because people will always wonder why the wearer has such a silly grin on their face when looking at their watch.
A magnificent glossy GMT-Master dial with a patina to die for. Wonderful condition, no damage to the lacquer (no cracks or anything like that). Add a perfect print to the mix and you’re simply happy as could be.
As the photos show, the patina is wonderfully even with only the minimal pigment particles in the tritium—exactly as it should be for complete authenticity.
The hands are also top-notch, featuring a beautiful patina that harmonizes perfectly with the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully crisp and the “Pepsi” inlay (blueback) is in excellent condition with vibrant colors. The contrast between the bold red and blue and the dial’s patina is stunning—trust me.
The 78360 Oyster bracelet has seen plenty of wear like the watch itself, but it remains structured and will serve its new owner for decades to come. There is some stretch; it comes with 11 links and the clasp is a service replacement (S AB4).
