Wonderful “Flat Four” Kermit from the 2003 release year.
The case is in a lightly worn but unpolished condition. As the photos perfectly illustrate, the case shows perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges, and an equally perfect matte finish on the top of the case.
While there are light, superficial signs of wear, the fact that the caseback sticker remains intact indicates that the watch was handled with great care and saw very little wrist time.
The magnificent “Maxi” Submariner Date dial is in perfect condition. It is the MK1 variant, identifiable by the letter “O” in “Rolex,” which appears slightly flattened.
The hands are likewise perfect.
The bezel is razor-sharp, featuring a wonderful “Flat Four” inlay with a magnificent color known among collectors as “Bertolli.” Notably, the bezel inlay is in top condition.
This superb first-series Kermit comes as a full set. It has been sold on October 8, 2003, by rolex authorized dealer Bijouterie Jeannine Franconi in Biel/Bienne (Country Code 024, Switzerland).
Just as the watch itself, the 93250 Oyster bracelet is in top condition. Unpolished and featuring a fully intact crown logo, it shows no stretch and only the most minimal signs of wear. The clasp code is AD8 (August 2003), confirming it is the watch’s original bracelet.
Conclusion: An absolutely wonderful first-series “Flat Four” Kermit. This watch shows no weaknesses regarding either its condition or its scope of delivery.
