Description: Fine 1019 with service papers and wonderful patina.
The case is in very good condition. Gently polished in the past, it shows very good proportions, beautiful edges and a very good matte finish on the top of the case. There are minor signs of wear, but no deep scratches, dents or anything like that.
The highlight of this vintage classic is definitely the dial and the set of hands.
The silver/gray Milgauss dial with the striking red Milgauss lettering is in very good condition. All of these dials have developed a light patina on the edge of the dial over time. Here, compared to many other examples, the patina is only minimal and almost invisible to the naked eye. In addition to the clear print and the strong red of the Milgauss lettering, the patina of the lume is another dial highlight. This has developed a fine, creamy patina, which gives the dial additional vintage charm.
The set of hands are also a highlight? Yes, they are. The Milgauss had specially shaped hands from the factory that have a rising bend in the middle. In many cases, these hands were exchanged for service hands that are completely flat. Here we have the original set of hands and it has a wonderful patina that harmonizes perfectly with the dial.
Particularly cool is that the original t32 superdomed plexiglas has been preserved.
The watch comes with Rolex Hong Kong service papers from 2019.
Just as the watch, the 78360 Oyster bracelet is in very fine condition. The crown on the clasp is wonderfully intact and with clasp code G for 1981/82 it is the original bracelet for the watch.
