Description: A wonderful Da Vince perpetual calendar from the original German owner.
The case is in perfect condition. We were able to purchase the watch directly from a good friend and original owner. He has only worn the watch on selected occasions since 1992, so the case shows only minor signs of wear. Furthermore, it is completely unpolished, with perfect hallmarks and engravings.
The original white dial is in perfect condition, and the lume material is a wonderful highlight. Due to its limited wear, it has acquired a wonderfully rich patina that contrasts perfectly with the dial. The hands also have a magnificent patina, creating a harmonious overall appearance.
Overall, the watch is truly perfect in it’s composition.
The scope of delivery is also wonderful. All papers that were present at the time of delivery have been preserved. All instructions and descriptions are in German, as they should be. The warranty card is not filled out, quite typical for the time, but the original owner received a jewelry pass from Juwelier Zobel with his purchase, confirming the sale (date and serial number noted).
The original box is also preserved. It shows the typical signs of wear all IWC boxes of this era have.
The watch has been fully tested. All functions are fully intact and the watch has an excellent amplitude and movement function.
We’ve fitted the watch with a brand-new green leather strap and would like to point out the special clasp. The original owner spent extra money upon purchase and upgraded to a folded clasp.
Conclusion: IWC isn’t one of our core brands, but a Da Vinci of this quality isn’t often found. This watch offers outstanding quality at a top price.
