Great Maxi MK1 Submariner 5513 with a strong patina.
The case is in very good condition. Certainly polished in the past, it still shows full lugs, nice edges and a very good matt finish on the top of the case. There are signs of wear, but of course no deep scratches, dents or anything like that.
The dial is beautiful. Very well preserved Maxi MK1 dial with a great, strong patina. The print is wonderfully clear, the minute track completely intact and the already mentioned patina presents itself in an even and strong yellow tone.
The Maxi MK1 is known as the queen of all Maxis, because the lume on it is the largest one of all Maxi dials.
The original tritium hands are in very good condition and, depending on the incidence of light, appear a little darker than the dial.
The bezel is perfectly sharp and of course an original t19 superdomed is built into this vintage beauty, because anyone who knows my texts knows that a 5513 Sub can only develop its full beauty with a beautiful superdomed.
The bezel inlay is a wonderful, so-called “fat font” MK3 bezel inlay. This not only fits the watch perfectly in terms of time, no, with its bold print and the wonderful blue sequence, it harmonizes perfectly with the patina of the watch and gives the whole ensemble the finishing touch.
The 93150 Oyster bracelet is in very good condition. It shows slight stretch and minor signs of wear. It is perfect to wear and, with the clasp code S11 for November 1994,it is a little younger than the watch.
Conclusion: 5513 Maxi MK1 is already beautiful in itself. If you add a strong patina and a mega inlay, the vintage cracker is perfect.
