One for the Ladies. A beautiful, unpolished Lady-Datejust with a blue tritium dial from Munich.
The case is in fantastic condition. The watch comes directly from the family of the original owner and has never been polished. Therefore, it shows perfect proportions, beautifully sharp edges and a wonderful matte finish on the top of the case.
The family confirmed to me that the watch was only worn on select occasions which is also reflected in the minimal signs of wear.
The blue tritium dial is perfect and absolutely cool. Back then, tone-on-tone watches were more fashionable. A sporty blue dial was rather rare. Therefore, I am truly pleased that it was chosen here, as it simply looks great. The lume has also developed a wonderful patina, making it beautifully present.
The hands are in equally excellent condition, the bezel is beautifully sharp and the sapphire crystal is flawless.
This fantastic Lady-Datejust will delight its new owner with box and papers from Munich. It has been sold on December 18, 1991, by rolex authorized dealer Uhren Sonntag on Sendlinger Straße (LC100 Germany).
The 8570F Lady-President bracelet is also in excellent condition. It is unpolished with minimal signs of wear. It shows absolutely no stretch and comes with all links, meaning it will fit a wrist up to 16.5 cm in circumference perfectly.
