Amazing vintage 5513 Maxi MK1 with powerful presence. The case of this vintage beauty is excellent. Not unpolished but super bold, it shows off wonderful proportions, razor-sharp edges and a gorgeous matte finish on the top of the case. There are signs of wear, but no deep scratches, dents or anything that would detract from the beauty. The wonderful Maxi MK1 dial is also great. Clear print and a generally strong presence leave nothing to be desired. The lume material has taken on a slightly creamy patina, which harmonises wonderfully with the overall picture of the watch. It is also nice that the lume material has aged very evenly and only shows minimal color deviations on the indices. The Maxi MK1 is prone to such optical weaknesses and this watch really has zero of these. Incidentally, the Maxi MK1 is also known as the King Maxi. Why? Well, it is the dial variant, which has the most and therefore the largest application of lume material. This makes it visually very present and I’m happy every time I see and am allowed to buy one. The hands match the color of the dial wonderfully and are in very good condition. The bezel is still sharp and the bezel inlay is a gorgeous MK3 inlay which has evenly aged to grey. There are a few small chips, but you’ve seen the pictures and the overall picture here is just perfect. Of course, this 5513 Maxi has an original t19 superdomed installed, because the watch only works as it should with an original t19 superdomed. The glas has two small edges on the side that we polished a bit. You can see nothing of it on the wrist and the watch is currently sealed! The 93150 Oyster bracelet is also very very fine. It has also been polished in the past, showing little stretch and signs of wear. It goes perfectly with the watch and with clasp code VC for 1978 it is the original bracelet to the watch.

Conclusion: Really a “great” Maxi MK1. Buy, wear, smile all the time. Even my photographer, who doesn’t really like vintage (try to photograph a superdomed glas ^^), called me enthusiastically about the watch.
