Top Submariner 5513 (non-date) with box and papers.
The case is in excellent condition. Likely minimally polish once, it retains perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a wonderful matte finish on the top of the case. While there are light signs of wear, the case is overall of outstanding quality.
The Submariner dial is equally impressive. Of course original and featuring tritium lume material that has developed a soft, creamy patina over time, it makes an immediate impact. Furthermore, the dial is free of damage and features a wonderfully crisp print.
The hands also featuring tritium lume that matches the dial’s patina perfectly.
The bezel is razor-sharp, the inlay (with tritium pearl) is in top condition and we have lightly polished the acrylic crystal so that signs of wear are visible only at the edges.
The watch has just undergone a full movement service by our master watchmaker; it runs perfectly and is water-resistant.
This fantastic Sub comes with its box and papers. It has originally been sold in June 1986 by rolex authorized dealer Right Watch Co. Ltd in Hong Kong. A notable detail is that the papers are punched! Many 5513 papers—since it is a non-chronometer model—were merely handwritten rather than punched. However, in certain countries or with specific authorized dealers, only punched certificates were issued to ensure traceability. We are fortunate to have such an example here.
Just as the watch itself, the 93150 Oyster bracelet is in excellent condition. It shows nearly no stretch, the crown on the clasp is beautifully intact and it comes with 11 links. The clasp code is N3, indicating February 1990—making it slightly newer than the watch.
Conclusion: A fine “Glossy” Submariner in excellent condition in a full set with box and papers.
