Description: Wonderful MK6 Red Submariner with a strong patina.
The case is in very good condition. Polished in the past, it still shows fine proportions, beautifully sharp edges, and a beautiful matte finish on the top of the case. There are signs of wear, but no deep scratches, dents, or anything like that.
The absolute highlight of this watch is the wonderful Red Submariner dial. Not only is it in perfect condition, but the lume has acquired a strong and even patina over the decades. Combined with the wonderfully prominent red Submariner logo, this is one of the best on the market.
The dial, by the way, is the MK6 version, which can be recognized by the closed 6 digits of 660 ft.
The hands are also in excellent condition, with a wonderfully harmonious patina.
The bezel is extremely sharp, and the inlay is another eye-catcher. It’s a wonderful MK3 inlay with a so-called fat font print which fits the watch perfectly, and I assume it’s the original inlay. Also note the slight aging, which has given the inlay a wonderful gray-blue color.
The watch has arrived freshly from our expert watchmaker and has undergone a comprehensive movement service, guaranteeing years of wearability.
The 9315 folded Oyster bracelet is excellent. It has almost zero stretch, shows light signs of wear, and wears perfectly on the wrist. It’s a bit younger than the watch, but fits perfectly with the wonderful vintage look of this watch.
Conclusion: A Red Sub with a dial to fall in love with. This is what a vintage Sub should be like.
