Description: Unworn PEPSI 16710 GMT-Master II with box and papers and special bezel inlay.
The case is in perfect and fully stickered condition. All side stickers are completely intact, and the caseback is also fully stickered with a perfect 16710 sticker (attention. We will deliver this picture later on). The watch has, and you can tell from the quality of the stickers, certainly never been on any wrist.
The black GMT-Master II dial is in perfect condition and so are the hands.
The bezel is razor sharp and untouched. The sapphire glas is perfect.
The bezel inlay is a small highlight of this stickered 16710. Anyone who knows my offers in the past knows that I am a big fan of the 16710 and have been able to offer this reference many times. Through this large number of watches, I have been able to determine that some F series, just like this one here, have a special bezel inlay installed.
The pictures reveal that it is a PEPSI inlay with super bold print and serifs on the numbers. Actually, this variant has only been available until the end of the 90s and even then the inlays were not printed quite as bold as here, but it seems that Rolex went back to the old variant or the old inlay type for exactly this period. Maybe there was a new supplier, or they wanted to provide a contrast to the new case design with closed lugs. In any case, it’s a visual hit.
This great stickered 16710 comes with box and papers. It has been sold in 2004 by rolex authorized dealers The Hour Glass in Hong Kong (LC 888). What’s particularly cool is that the hangtag with serial number is part of the scope of delivery. This also shows that this watch was born as a Pepsi, i.e. 126710BLRO!
The 78790 Oyster bracelet is great, the clasp is fully stickered and it shows no stretch. With clasp code AD7 for July 2003, this is of course the original bracelet to the watch.
Conclusion: Stickered 16710 PEPSI with one of the coolest bezel inlays you will find. Also with box and papers. It doesn’t actually get any better.
