Description: Beautiful vintage GMT with an amazing charisma.
The case of this great vintage GMT is not for the Safe Queen fans. Worn, loved and not always cared for, it presents itself in an absolutely authentic, unpolished condition. As the pictures perfectly show, the lugs are full and even, the edges are still very sharp, and the matte finish on the top of the case shows only a light shirt polish. There are signs of wear and a few quirks, but that’s what you want for an authentic vintage GMT from the early 90s.
The GMT-Master II dial with tritium lume is in perfect condition with no weaknesses. The tritium lume has a great, slightly creamy patina. The set of hands, just as the dial, is in perfect condition with a wonderfully harmonious patina to the dial.
The bezel is sharp, the sapphire glas is perfect and the Pepsi bezel inlay is an absolute highlight. It has taken on a wonderful patina over the last 30 years and gives the watch a unique look. Furthermore, the thick font is typical of the early 90s and gives the watch additional charm.
This great vintage 16710 delights its new owner with box and papers. It has been sold on August 28, 1993 by Rolex concessionaire Agatine in Paris (France).
Just as the watch, the 78360 Oyster bracelet is unpolished, with the crown completely intact. The bracelet, just as the case, shows typical signs of wear and light stretch. It wears perfectly on the wrist, comes with 11 links and with clasp code R6 for June 1993, it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Great, honest vintage GMT with great charm in a great set.
