Description: Wonderful GMT-Master 16700 with SWISS Only dial, cool Pepsi inlay and 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 50s marking.
The case is in very good condition. The 16700 is generally a little thinner and flatter than its sister, the 16710. Therefore, the case appears less bulky. The case of this watch has been polished once and not much material has been removed. The matte finish is very good with only minimal signs of wear.
The dial is special. It is a so-called SWISS ONLY dial. In 1998, Rolex switched the production of lume material from tritium to superluminova. During this change and only for a short period of about 2 years (1998 to 2000), dials with the SWISS imprint were used. From 2000 this changed to the well-known SWISS MADE.
Since the MADE is missing here, it is called SWISS ONLY.
Since this watch dates from 1999, it fits perfectly into the period mentioned. Therefore the dial and watch are 100% original and delivered as such.
The hands, just as the dial, are covered with Superluminova and are in top condition.
This great Pepsi GMT comes with box and papers. It has been sold in Japan in October 2000 and comes with the original box, both booklets and translation.
In addition to the papers, the new owner receives the original invoice for a complete movement service of the watch has been carried out on August 17th, 2024 by rolex authorized dealer Juwelier Van Hooff in the Netherlands. Costs were EUR 375.00
Watch cool, dial cool, inlay cool, the babracelet has to be cool too. The 62510H Jubilee is my favorite of the 90s and 2000s GMTs. Wears perfectly on the wrist and looks great. The Jubilee bracelet installed here is younger than the watch, clasp code random and therefore after 2012, in perfect condition, without stretch and with all links.
