Description: Sea-Dweller MK1 Great White with beautiful patina.
The case is in great condition. Recently gently polished by a specialist, it features full lugs with great proportions, razor-sharp edges and a perfect matt finish on the top of the case. There are light signs of wear, but of course no deep scratches, dents or anything like that.
The highlight of this watch is certainly the wonderful MK1 tritium dial. Not only is it in top condition, no, the tritium lume has taken on a wonderfully strong and evenly yellowish discoloration and in combination with the very present waffle print it just gives a wonderful look.
The tritium hands are original to the watch and have a consistent patina. As the pictures show, the tritium has reacted with the metallic coating over the years. This is normal and is hardly noticeable in person. You can swap hands, but hey, vintage lives from authenticity.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp, the MK3 inlay is in very good condition with a tritium bead (slightly lighter than the dial patina) and as it should be, this 1665 comes with old t39 superdomed glas.
The 93150 Oyster bracelet is in very good condition. It shows minimal signs of wear, extremely little stretch and with the clasp code VD for 1979 it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Top MK1 Great White Sea-Dweller with amazing patina.
