Amazing watch. For a long time it was believed in collector circles that the A series was the last series of Zenith Daytonas. Why? Because there were only around 200-300 of the P series that I am offering you here and it took a while before the first examples even appeared on the market. Yes, this thing is really rare.
The case is in wonderful condition. Unpolished, it has perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a beautiful matt finish. The case is in wonderful condition. There are minimal signs of wear, perhaps worth mentioning is a small scratch on the lower crown guard, but overall a watch that is 100% immediately convincing.
The bezel is also unpolished with almost no signs of wear. Splendid.
The white Daytona dial is perfect and of course the correct last version with Superluminova. The hands are just as perfect and also with Superluminova as it should be.
This rare Daytona comes as a full set. It has been sold in November 2000 by Rolex authorized dealer Kee Hing Hung in Singapore (LC 430).
The 78390A Oyster bracelet is perfect, just as the watch, with minimal signs of wear and no stretch. The crown is perfect, not polished or anything. The clasp code is AB4 for April 2000 and therefore it is of course the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Rare, top condition, full set. Just a great Daytona.
