Description: Very cool 1655 ORANGE HAND Explorer II with box and papers.
The case is in top condition and characterized by full lugs, sharp edges and a great matte finish. The watch has certainly been polished in the past but the result is perfect and convinces every vintage enthusiast.
Light signs of wear are visible on the side surfaces but no scratches, dents or anything like that.
The lovely Explorer II dial is in perfect condition. Clear print and a wonderful creamy patina on the lume. It’s the so called MKVI variant.
The hands, just as the dial, are in perfect condition. The orange hand has a super strong color.
The bezel is a MK3 bezel with the typical and correct font for the early 80s.
This really great 1655 Orange Hand delights its new owner with box and papers. It comes from the USA and has been sold on July 37, 1981 by rolex authorized dealer One carat patch – Fayette Mall Lexington.
As the watch, the 78360 Oyster bracelet is in fine vintage condition. It is younger than the watch and has probably been installed as part of a service. It is in great condition with almost no stretch.
Finally, an extra note that we treated this watch to a fresh movement service from our watchmaker which results in a two-year guarantee on the performance for you.
Conclusion: Orange hand as it should be. Expressive! Plus box and papers. We love it.
