Description: Wonderful BIG RED FLOATING PANDA manual-wound Daytona with original box.

A case with a quality that makes vintage hearts beat faster. Yes, this watch has been worn for the past 40 years, but we have kept it in exactly the condition it has been offered to us. The reason is simple:

The case is super fat. Full lugs, still sharp chamfers and a very good matte finish. Based on the overall case shape and the history known, we assume that this watch has only been polished once in its lifetime. This can be seen from the position of the lug holes, which are set deep around the case and the lugs. On many manual-wound Daytonas, the lugs extend well beyond the case. Here, they sit beautifully on the case.

As mentioned, there are signs of wear, a tiny dent or a light scratch here and there, but the watch is simply lovely.

The bezel is as perfect as the case. Perfect shape, clear letters, and signs of wear that match the case.

A highlight of this watch is certainly the wonderful FLOATING BIG RED PANDA dial. This is one of the rarest dial variants, with the BIG RED logo printed slightly higher than on other versions, making it even more present on the wrist.

The condition of the dial is excellent, by the way. Super-clear print, perfect sunray-cut and the lume material has taken on a wonderful patina. The 10 o’clock index is missing a minimal amount of lume material which isn’t noticeable in person or on the wrist.

The hands are also excellent and have a patina that matches the dial. We replaced the Plexiglas with a NOS t21 superdomed glas, as the old glas had some wear and tear, so the future owner can enjoy its beauty to the fullest.

As a small, nice bonus, this watch comes with the original Bufkor box with a 6265 sticker! Although there are no papers, the box tells us that this watch has been sold in the USA, as this box was only available in the USA.

The 78350 Oyster bracelet is in excellent condition, just as the watch. Polished once, it shows signs of wear, but almost no stretch, and it includes all 12 links. The clasp code is H for 1983/84, making it the original bracelet for the watch.

Conclusion: Magical. A BIG RED is just super cool. Here it is, with floating detail and in the quality you’d expect, absolutely authentic.
