Description: Unpolished white gold perpetual calendar full set from Italy.
The case is in great condition. Unpolished, it shows perfect symmetry with sharp case passage. In my opinion, the 5970G has one of the most beautiful case shapes that Patek Philippe has ever offered. The case is not too intrusive, but has accents that give the watch a wonderful charm.
As the pictures and macros show, there are minor signs of wear, but overall a top case with exactly the quality i would like to have for my own collection. Unpolished, lightly worn, which means the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist right away.
The silver/grey dial is in perfect condition. Print and surface are exactly as one could wish for. The watch is unopened and therefore you won‘t even find a dust particle or anything else on the dial. The hand set is also untouched and shows the typical oxidation that occurs with this hand variant and gives the watch further charm of an untouched piece.
This top 5970G comes as a full set with box and papers. It has been sold on December 2nd, 2005 by Patek authorized dealer Bartorelli in Riccione (Italy). Of course, the scope of delivery includes the second, massive caseback, as well as the original HangTag and pin. The original box is also part of the scope of delivery.
The Patek Philippe folding clasp (18k white gold) is also in very good condition and the bracelet is original to the watch. It is still great to wear, but can of course be exchanged at any time.
Conclusion: A qualitatively wonderful perpetual calendar in a collector’s set.
