Description: 3940 Perpetual Calendar in German edition by Uhren Huber in Munich.
The case is in very good condition. The watch has been polished in 2014 which was done carefully and with high quality. All hallmarks are beautifully present; see the separate photo we made for you. The watch has been worn with pleasure but also with care. It therefore shows only the typical fine superficial scratches. Overall, very good condition for this vintage gem.
The dial reflects the place of delivery. It is the German edition of the 3940 with German imprints of the day the week and month. The condition of the dial is wonderful. It features magnificent serifs and the typical classic beauty of an MK2 dial. There is a small scratch on the dial edge between four and five o’clock, which is only visible with a loupe.
The hands are also in excellent condition, and the sapphir glas is perfect.
This magnificent 3940 will delight its new owner as a truly top-notch full set.
The watch has been sold by Uhren Huber in Munich in March 1992. The original box, leather pouch, instructions, and setting pin are included. Furthermore, the original second solid caseback is also preserved and included. Truly a perfect set.
The watch received a full service in 2014. The original service invoice is included.
The original brown Patek Philippe leather strap is wonderful, as the watch has been worn mostly on a different leather strap. The original Patek Philippe pin buckle completes the look.
