Description: A beautiful German Day-Date with a very rare blue diamond dial in perfect condition.

A case I love and am always happy to offer. Absolutely untouched – meaning unpolished, it displays perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges, and a wonderful matte finish on the top of the case. The typical light wear that occurs with gold is present, but this, along with the intact caseback sticker, is proof that this watch is absolutely perfectly untouched.

The bezel is also unpolished, super sharp, and also shows light signs of wear.

In addition to its condition, the dial is also a highlight. It is a very rare blue sunray-cut dial set with diamonds. The contrast of the blue against the yellow gold of the case is perfect, and the subtle diamond setting completes the whole thing. The condition of the dial is perfect. No flaws, nothing!

The hands are also top-notch. A shade lighter, typical for the time, but not noticeable in real life- even to a trained eye.

This stunning Day-Date comes with box and papers from Germany (LC100). It has been sold on April 3, 1991, by rolex authorized dealer Hörl Jewelers in Augsburg.

The 8385 President bracelet, just as the watch, is unpolished, with a perfectly preserved crown. It shows light signs of wear and virtually no stretch; see the separate stretch picture for details. It comes with 23 links and, with clasp code O4 for April 1990, is the original bracelet for the watch.

Conclusion: Oh, my Day-Dates. I simply love them. One series, a thousand possible looks, and here in the perfect version.
