Description: Great ONYX Day-Date in perfect condition and in the perfect full set.
The case is in wonderful unpolished condition. Great proportions, razor-sharp edges and a perfect matt finish leave nothing to be desired. Even the sticker on the back cover is still well preserved with a clearly legible reference number.
The wonderful deep black ONYX stone dial is in perfect condition. No crack, no discoloration, pure black and magical.
The hands are also in great condition and these are the correct hands for stone dials, without lume material.
The bezel is razor-sharp identical to the case and simply great. The sapphir glas is perfect.
This magical Day-Date comes as a BLAZING full set with box and papers. It was sold on 12/18/1989 by rolex authorized dealer Orologeria Luigi Verga in Milan (Italy). The scope of delivery and the set are truly a highlight. Both booklets (Italian and with perfectly matching date), as well as the original box and outer carton, and yes, even the outer carton is guaranteed to belong to the watch, because the Orologeria Luigi Verga sticker is still stuck on it 😉
The 8385 President Oyster bracelet is in superb condition, just as is the entire watch. Almost no stretch, perfect opening and closing of the folding clasp and a total of 23 links are a statement and another reason why this watch is a highlight.
