Description: Unpolished Diamond Day-Date in a full set.
The case is in wonderful unpolished condition. Full lugs, razor-sharp edges, a perfect matt finish on the top of the case and just as perfect hallmarks on the back of the case leave nothing to be desired.
The golden day-date dial with tritium lume is perfect and has no weaknesses, including a wonderful sunray cut as shown in the pictures. The tritium hands is in just as wonderful condition with a harmonious patina.
The bezel, just as the watch, is unpolished with minor signs of wear and the sapphir glas is perfect.
This fine Day-Date will delight its new owner as a full set, with box and papers.
It has been sold in 1991 by rolex authorized dealer Artland Watch Co. in Hong Kong (LC 888) and the two booklets with the correct printing date and the rare Rolex President HangTag are particularly noteworthy.
Furthermore there is a service receipt from Rolex Japan, dating to 2007 part of the full set.
This watch came back to us after we sold it a few years ago to a very good client in Berlin. On his request we changed the date wheel to german. If you wish another language, we happily change the date wheel for you.
The 8385 18k Yellow Gold President Bracelet is in great condition. Almost zero stretch and the same wonderful condition as the watch itself leaves nothing to be desired. This is the original strapbracelet for the watch with clasp code O8 for August 1990 and the scope of delivery includes 22 links.
Conclusion: Wonderfully golden day-date as a collector’s set. This watch delights on the wrist and collection alike.
