Beschreibung:Classic 18038 Day-Date in great condition from Germany.
The case is in very good condition. Gently polished in the past, the case still shows beautiful proportions, fine edges and a wonderful matt finish on the top of the case. There are minor signs of wear, but overall it’s a nice watch.
The golden sunray cut dial is in perfect condition with no weaknesses. Clear print and all lume dots intact leave nothing to be desired. The set of hands are also in great condition.
The bezel is still sharp with present grooves and the sapphir glas is perfect.
This great Day-Date delights its new owner with box and papers. It has been sold on January 21, 1986 by Juwelier Simon in Mönchengladbach (LC 100). What’s particularly nice is that the original hangtag was preserved. 8,050.00 German marks was a lot of money back in 1986.
The 8385 president bracelet is in beautiful condition. It shows light stretch and only minor signs of wear. It has 22 links and with clasp code J4 for April 1985, it is the original bracelet to the watch.
