Description: Beautiful Oysterquartz Datejust with cool black dial and papers
The case is in very good condition. Probably gently polished, it shows great proportions, beautiful sharp edges and the typical matte finish for Oysterquartz models. There are signs of wear on the surface, but no deep dents, scratches or anything like that.
By the way, you can easily tell the quality of an Oysterquartz case by the distance between the bezel and the case. If the case is visible at the six and twelve o’clock positions, the condition is fine and not overpolished. We therefore created a picture of the six o’clock position for you, which you can clearly see this distance in.
The black Oysterquartz dial is in great condition. Clear print and all tritium lume dots are completely intact. Furthermore, the tritium has taken on a really great, strong patina, which offers a great contrast to the black dial.
The hands are also in top condition. Depending on the light, the lume is a bit brighter than the dial, which is not noticeable in reality.
This great black Oysterquartz Datejust comes with original papers. It has been sold on February 16, 1990 by Goldsmiths in Nottingham, England (LC 160).
The integrated Oysterquartz bracelet is also in very good condition. It shows light signs of wear and has almost no stretch. It comes with 10 links and with the clasp code GC for 1982/83 it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Great Oysterquartz. Iconic design, black dial, beautiful condition.
