For sale is a wonderful Rolex RED Submariner MK4 with rare and wanted kissing 4 inlay. The case is in top condition. About a year ago the case was slightly polished by my expert and shows thick lugs, razor sharp chamfers and a perfect matte finish on top of the lugs. Since then it stayed in the safe from a mayor client of mine and was barely worn. Because of that i was more than happy to buy it back because quality and look are still perfect and there are only minimum signs of wear to spot. Bring a loupe 😉 The RED Submariner dial is in very good condition. Clear print, strong red color and a wonderful patina giving her the perfect vintage look. The 24h index shows a light color difference but that’s hard to spot at the wrist and doesn’t affect the beauty at all. As mentioned above it’s a MK4 dial which can be spotted by the non serif L of Rolex. It’s the first feet first version with still open 6es at 660ft. The tritium hands are also in very good condition and the patina matches the dial perfect. You might have already seen that the inlay is a super rare and wanted kissing 4 version. It’s called kissing 4 because the 4 of 40 is touching the 0 and so they kiss each other. These inlays are quite expensive today and if you are looking for one you have to calculate around 3 to 4 thousand Euros. Also the crystal is the rare original version with no bevel on the top. That’s why it’s called top hat and because they became quite rare you have to calculate around 500 Euros on the market. If you are new into vintage you might ask yourself if everything is original to the watch. YES. Everything is original and period correct. The bracelet is a later massive 93150 oyster in very good condition. It shows light stretch and the clasp code is G for 1982.

Conclusion: Great MK4 Red Sub with top top inlay
