Description: Super cool MAXI MKV GMT with wonderful charisma.
The case is in very good condition. Recently gently polished, it shows great proportions, razor-sharp edges and a great matte finish on the top of the case.
Due to the recent polishing, signs of wear can be seen only with a loupe and of course there are no deep scratches, dents or anything like that.
As already mentioned in the first sentence, a highlight of this watch is the great MAXI MKV dial. As the pictures show, the dial is in wonderful condition with clear print and a wonderfully strong yellow patina.
These dials are referred to as maxi dials due to their large-area application of lume. Specifically, the indices that are covered with tritium are printed larger, which gives the watch an enormous presence on the wrist and if, just as with this watch here, the patina is still great, there is no other way than to enjoy it.
The hands, just as the dial, are in great condition with a consistent patina.
The bezel is well sharp and the original REDBACK inlay (the back is red and that is important because the red back inlays are the original old inlays) is in great condition with minor signs of wear and vibrant colors.
The 78360 Oyster bracelet is great and, just as the watch, with no significant signs of wear and almost no stretch. It has 11 links and with clasp code O4 for April 1990 it is slightly younger than the watch.
Conclusion: Great 1675 MAXI GMT. I’m constantly looking for great GMTs and rarely find quality like this.
