Description: A great, unpolished 16700 GMT-Master in a wonderful full set from Germany.
The case is in worn but unpolished condition. It displays fine proportions, beautiful edges, and a very good matte finish on the top of the case. The watch has been worn with pleasure but hasn’t been abused. Therefore, there are only light signs of wear and no deep scratches, dents, or anything like that.
The GMT-Master dial with tritium lume is in excellent condition without any flaws. The hands are also tritium with a patina that complements the dial.
The bezel is beautifully sharp with clean teeth, and the Pepsi bezel inlay shows light signs of wear.
The watch is offered as a beautiful full set with box and papers. It has been sold in July 1997 by rolex authorized dealer jeweler Körsgen in Siegburg (Germany, LC100).
In addition to the box and papers, both booklets, calendar, and translation are included.
The 78790 Oyster bracelet, just as the watch itself, is in fine, unpolished condition. The bracelet shows only minimal stretch, yet wears perfectly on the wrist and with clasp code Z3 (March 1997), it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: A GMT for both collectors and the wrist. It brightens up the summer sun and chases away the winter blues.
