White Explorer II with rehaut engraving and 3186 caliber in a full set.
The case is in very good and unpolished condition. As the pictures of the watch perfectly show, the proportions are perfect, the edges are wonderfully sharp and the matte finish on the top of the case is wonderful. There are signs of wear in the form of light, superficial, fine scratches, but no deep scratches/dents or anything like that.
The bezel is also unpolished with sharp edges, clear numbers and slight signs of wear.
The white Explorer II dial is in perfect condition. It is a so-called POLAR dial, as the white color appears bright white just as the the snow in the polar regions.
The hands are of course also in perfect condition.
This great Explorer II comes with three special features: As the V series, it already has the newer 3186 caliber installed As a V series, it already has rehaut engraving As the V series it comes with a card certificate
Furthermore, the watch is a great full set. It has been sold on November 6th, 2009 by rolex authorized dealer ROCCA in Milan (Italy). What’s particularly cool is that the original hangtag with serial number and sales price has been preserved.
4,555.00 EUR back in 2009. You should have bought a few pieces back then ;-). Hätte man damals einige Stück kaufen sollen ;-).
Just as the watch, the 78790A is unpolished, with all links and the clasp code PJ12 for December 2008, which is the original bracelet to the watch.
