Description: Cool white Explorer II with patina dial from Germany.
The case is in worn but unpolished condition. As the pictures perfectly demonstrate, the case has great proportions, the typical wide edge cut of the early 16570 Explorer II, and the matte finish on the top of the case is fully present. There are signs of wear and one or two minor dents, but overall, in my opinion, a wonderful vintage case that invites you to continue to wear this watch with pleasure and extensively.
The white Explorer II dial is top-notch and a little highlight. As the pictures show, the lume has taken on a wonderful creamy patina. Not as strong as the Chicchi di Mais, but clearly visible on the wrist, thus adding even more vintage charm.
The hands match the color of the lume of the dial beautifully and are also in excellent condition.
The bezel, just as the case, is unpolished, with signs of wear consistent with the watch.
The watch is offered as a beautiful full set with box and papers from Germany. It has been sold in September 1993 by rolex authorized Exner Recklinghausen (LC 100).
The 78360 Oyster bracelet, just as the watch, is in great vintage condition. The bracelet shows minimal stretch, wears perfectly on the wrist, and with clasp code S3 for March 1993, it is the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: A beautiful EX II in white, just the way we love it. Great vintage charm.
