Description: Super rare P Series Zenith Daytona in new condition.
Yes, the P series Zeniths are a rare. For a long time and sometimes even today, but only by ignorant dealers, a 16520 of the A series has been sold as a “final edition” or “last serial”. Why? Because you simply couldn’t find any P series 16520 on the market for a long time. They are so rare, it is assumed that around 300-400 pieces were delivered, that for a long time the path from one collector led directly to the other collector and no information has been shared. Today we know better and the 16520 of the P series has received its justified status as a real “last serial”.
Now we already know that the watch itself is very rare. But there is also a rare condition and scope of delivery here, so we can speak of super rare here!
The watch is unworn and in new condition. Wonderfully perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a beautiful matt finish. The most minimal signs of storage can be found on the polished surfaces of the watch, but at first glance you can be sure that this watch has never really been on the wrist. The bracelet also confirms this, but as always, more on that later on.
The black Daytona dial is also in perfect condition. It is the last dial variant with Superluminova. The hands are just as perfect and complete the picture. The bezel is wonderfully sharp, as befits a never-worn watch, and the sapphire glas is perfect.
This beauty delights it‘s new owner in a full set. It has been sold on 09/14/2000 by CHOW SANG SANG Jewelery Co. LTD in Hong Kong. The scope of delivery is super strong, incl. original box with 16520 STICKERS, hang tag with serial number sticker, even the bezel protection is part of the scope of delivery!
As promised, finally the information about the bracelet. Just as the watch, the 78390A Oyster bracelet is unworn, shows minimal signs of storage, but is still stickered on the clasp. Furthermore, it is of course the original bracelet to the watch with clasp code AB2 for February 2000
Conclusion: Super Zenith Daytona in one of the rarest versions ever produced. Every collector’s dream come true.
