The case is unpolished and wonderful. Full lugs with the characteristic shape and wonderful light chamfers, which gives this watch an even more distinctive look on the wrist. There are signs of wear, also on the bezel, but in this case, an unpolished case counts more than minor signs of wear and polished down.
The wonderful black Zenith Daytona dial is in excellent condition. Clear print, a beautiful, strong black color with the characteristic red Daytona lettering. A small highlight, by the way, are the subdials. These have acquired a wonderful patina over the years, revealing a wonderfully creamy vanilla patina.
The hands are also in excellent condition. The sapphire crystal is perfect, and the bezel, as mentioned above, is unpolished with only light signs of wear.
This magnificent yellow gold Zenith comes with a box and papers. It has been sold on April 4, 1995, in Italy by Chiappe Gioielliere in Genova (Genoa).
The 18-karat yellow gold clasp, just as the watch, is unpolished and shows light signs of wear. The crown on the clasp is perfectly present and the original Rolex leather strap is still in very good condition.
