Description: A truly unique Datejust that makes you fall in love immediately.
One reason for my passion for watches is watches like this one. It shows that you don’t have to spend a fortune to find something beautiful and unique in the world of watches.
The case is in outstanding condition. Completely untouched, it displays perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges, and a perfect matte finish. Signs of wear are minimal, this is a case of EXTRA EXTRA quality though.
The outstanding condition is also testified to by the completely intact caseback sticker.
The dial is a highlight of my career. It is a magical blue tropical BUCKLEY dial. These blue Buckley dials are very rare and it often happens that the lume material reacts with the blue color, causing the color layer to dissolve. Often, this effect is only found around the lume dots, but here, probably due to the long period of unwearing, the effect has spread into a wonderful tropical effect on almost the entire outer surface of the dial.
I’ve never seen a dial like this before, and the effect and look are simply magnificent. 100% fun and a smile on your wrist.
The hands are also in great condition with a harmonious patina. Incidentally, these are the special white hands that are only available for the blue and black Buckley dials.
This outstanding Datejust delights its new owner with its box and papers. It has been sold on June 10, 1983, by rolex authorized dealer Joyeria EL Arte in Spain. It’s also worth mentioning that the original purchase receipt is included!
The 62510H Jubilee bracelet, just as the watch, is unpolished and in perfect condition. Of course, it’s the original bracelet, with clasp code C 1979.
Conclusion: A magical watch. The quality and the look—I fell in love with it from the very first moment.
