Description: Super cool Datejust with a rare smooth bezel and an even rarer confetti dial.
The case is in very good condition. Certainly polished once in the past, it shows full lugs, beautiful edges and a good matt finish on the top of the case. There are signs of wear, but all in all a great vintage Datejust case.
The black dial is certainly the highlight of this watch. This is the rare confetti dial variant. These dials are called confetti dials by collectors because the surface is speckled with numerous colored flakes. A very cool effect that can only be found on black dials in Datejust and Day-Date models.
In addition to the rare dial itself, the condition of the dial is also wonderful. No damage whatsoever, clear writing and all lume points intact.
The hands, of course covered with tritium, are also in very good condition.
The bezel, which is decisive for the reference (1600 = smooth bezel / 1601 = white gold bezel / 1603 = engine turned bezel) is in very good condition and another rare feature.
The plexiglas is new and perfect condition.
The 6251H oyster bracelet is in very good condition. It comes with the matching 55 lugs, shows little stretch and is perfect to wear. The clasp code is 1/71 and so it came to the watch a little later.
