Description: Unworn steel/gold Submariner Date from Greece with a very rare blue dial without sunray-cut, often compared to the Stella dials among collectors!
The watch is completely unworn and fully stickered. All stickers on the case sides, caseback, bracelet, and clasp are intact. Furthermore, the stickers show no signs of wear.
The dial is an absolute highlight. With the introduction of the 116613LB in 2009 and the first deliveries from 2010 onwards, the watch had a special dial. The typical Rolex sunray-cut has been left out, and the dial has a completely homogeneous, gorgeous blue surface. If you take a look at the pictures closely, you’ll notice that even the print, just like the Stella dials, appears raised and floating.
The effect and depth of the color are truly magnificent, and compared to the sunray-cut dials introduced from the end of 2012 onwards, this is a watch with a much deeper expression. I was immediately enchanted at first glance.
Due to the short production period from 2010 to the end of 2012, this dial is truly rare and demanded.
All other components of the watch are of course also in perfect and unworn condition.
This beautiful and rare Submariner Date comes from Greece in an amazing full set. It has been sold on April 23, 2012, by rolex authorized dealer Kerkos Jewelers in Greece (LC 200).
The scope of delivery is truly top-notch, including a hang tag, bezel protector, etc.
The steel/gold Oyster bracelet is, just as the watch, unworn and stickered and comes with all links of course.
Conclusion: A modern Submariner-Date that even I, a vintage freak, am immediately impressed with.
