A fantastic Zenith Daytona from the very last production run with a white dial.
A magnificent watch. For a long time, collectors believed that the A series was the last series of Zenith Daytonas. Why? Because only about 200-300 pieces of the P series, like the one I’m offering here, were ever made, and it took quite a while for the first examples to even appear on the market. Yes, this thing is truly rare.
The case is in top condition. It was professionally polished for the first time during a service in 2015 and displays excellent proportions, wonderfully sharp edges, and a gorgeous matte finish on the top of the case. The watch has only been worn a few times since the service and shows only the llightest signs of wear.
The bezel is also in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Magnificent.
The white Daytona dial is perfect and, of course, the correct final version with Super-Luminova lume. The hands are also perfect and, as they should be, with Super-Luminova lume.
This rare Daytona comes as a full set. It has been sold in December 2000 by rolex authorized dealer BELL JLRS in Tennessee (USA). The original packaging is truly perfect, including both booklets (Daytona and Oyster), a leather pouch and the Rolex service card from 2015.
The 78390A Oyster bracelet, just as the watch itself, is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of wear and virtually no stretch. The crown on the clasp is in perfect condition and completely intact. The clasp code is AB4, indicating April 2000, so it is indeed the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Rare, top condition, full set. Simply a fantastic Daytona.
