Description: A wonderful 1675 GMT-Master in German full set with a perfect charisma.
The case is magnificent. The watch hasn’t been worn often in its lifetime, as the fully intact caseback sticker guarantees. However, it has been minimally polished once, probably because someone simply wanted to call a perfect and visually unworn 1675 their own. The quality of the polish is perfect, the proportions wonderful, the edges broad and razor-sharp, as befits a 1675 from the early 1970s, and the matte finish is also made from a master’s hand.
The fact that the polish was probably minimal is also shown by the completely intact blood rinse on the caseback.
The MK2 GMT-Master dial is also a dream. Wonderfully clear print, no damage at all, and a truly super strong and even patina that gives this GMT its perfect expression. The hands are also top-notch, with a patina that perfectly matches the lume material of the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp, and anyone who has seen the pictures will immediately fall in love with the original redback inlay. This bold font inlay features wonderfully bold print and a light patina of light blue/orange, which, combined with the strong patina of the lume material, is simply stunning.
Not only the watch, but also the scope of delivery is top-notch. Punched papers, sold on May 4, 1974 by rolex authorized dealer Werner Brögle in Esslingen Neckar (LC 100 / Germany). The scope of delivery also includes the original booklet and the translation with a sales stamp and date. German accuracy as you would expect 😉 German correctness as you know it 😉
The 7836 Oyster folded bracelet is, just as the watch, in top condition. It shows no stretch, minimal signs of wear, and comes with 11 links.
Conclusion: A perfect vintage look combined with that “like new” feel from good old Germany.
