The case is in very good condition. You won’t find many Datejusts in my offers, because these watches are simply classics that were used every day and are therefore often quite battered and, above all, polished.
The case of this Datejust is not unpolished, but it is very beautiful. It is characterized by full lugs, sharp edges and a great matte finish. There are signs of wear, but overall a really convincing case.
The golden sunray-cut dial is also very good. It has a fine sunray-cut finish and fits this watch perfectly. The hands are also very good and the patina matches the dial wonderfully.
The bezel in 18 carat yellow gold is also as sharp as you would expect.
This classic comes with box and papers. The watch has been sold from rolex authorized dealer Juwelier FUCHS in Bad Oeynhausen.
My customer, from whom I was able to purchase the watch, only recently had a complete factory service carried out on the watch. In December 2024, EUR 750.00 has been invested and therefore it is running perfectly and will continue to do so for the next few years.
Just as the watch, the 62523 Jubilee bracelet is great. It shows light stretch, has been polished just as lightly and wears perfectly on the wrist. With clasp code D1 for January 1979, this is also the original bracelet for the watch.
Conclusion: Beautiful watch. Scope of delivery, fresh service. Datejust as it should be.
