The case is in great condition. Wonderfully sharp edges, a perfect matt finish and only minor signs of wear on the polished side surfaces present a case that is absolutely worthy of a Royal Oak.
The bezel, just as the case, is in top condition with only minor signs of wear. The distances between the screws and the edge of the bezel are optimal and testify to the quality of the watch.
The Petit Tapestry dial is in wonderful condition. With the logo at 6 o’clock, it is the original dial to the watch and also visually the most beautiful dial variant of the 5402 Royal Oak. As the pictures show, the condition is wonderful. A clear print and the lume of the indexes has taken on a beautiful patina. In picture two of our series (watch in hand) you can wonderfully see the perfect play of colors.
The hands are original, with a beautiful patina that matches the dial and the sapphire glas is undamaged.
The original integrated Royal Oak bracelet is in excellent condition. As the pictures of the bracelet and clasp reveal, it shows light signs of wear and has only the slightest loss of tension. The clasp is correct for a late B series with the brevete stamp on the inside and the AP logo on the outer clasp and is therefore the original bracelet to the watch.
Conclusion: The 5402ST is one of the classics in watch history and should not be missing in any collection. A watch that is fully convincing on the wrist as well as in the collection.
