Description: Borke Day-Date in gorgeous unpolished condition.

The case is in wonderful unpolished condition. The edges are wonderfully sharp and the matte finish on the top of the case is perfect. Signs of wear are only present to a limited extent, in the form of scratches that are mostly superficial.

An 1807 Day-Date can be recognized by the distance between the bezel and the edges of the case. There has to be a fair amount of space here so that the watch isn’t polished to death. If you check the pictures, you will notice that the distances have been perfectly preserved and you really have a great case in front of you.

The bark bezel, just as the case, is unpolished with wonderful deep engraving. This is exactly how bark has to be in order for it to shine.

The dial is a great golden sunray cut dial with a special minute track, which shows Arabic numbers every five minutes. These dials are quite rare and give the watch a slightly sporty look.

The set of hands is also in wonderful condition with a matching patina to the dial.

The watch comes on a new leather strap (non Rolex) and with a vintage pin buckle (gold plated).

Conclusion: Unpolished bark the way you want it. Bark needs to be perfect to show off its beauty and that is absolutely the case here.
