Description: Rare Datejust Turn-O-Graph in wonderful vintage condition with oxidized case.
The case is super special and simply wonderful. Yellow gold that has not been worn regularly oxidizes over time and develops a very exciting patina. As the pictures impressively show, it gives the watch a beautiful and unique look.
Due to the oxidation, the case looks much more like red gold and creates a perfect look on the wrist. By the way, you can remove this without leaving any residue if you want, but I love it and therefore would leave it like that.
Of course, the rest of the condition of the case is also wonderful. Full lugs, beautiful edges and a great matte finish on the top of the case leave nothing to be desired.
The Turn-O-Graph differs from the Datejust in exactly one component. It has a bezel that can be rotated in both directions, making the watch look sportier on the wrist. The condition of the bezel is perfect. Unpolished, with clear numbers and edges and the exact patina as the case.
The dial is a wonderful silver sunraycut dial. The combination of the oxidized case in a rose gold look and the silver dial creates a wonderful contrast. As the pictures show, the lume material of the dial has been removed at some point, but this does not detract from the beauty at all.
The set of hands is also in wonderful condition with a cool patina.
The watch comes on a new leather strap (non Rolex) and with a vintage pin buckle (gold plated).
Conclusion: Honestly guys, what else can you get at Rolex for this amount. Beautiful watch with a full gold case and an amazing vintage look. That’s why I bought it. It’s just fun and you don’t have to be a millionaire to treat yourself to something like this.
