Beschreibung: Deutsche GMT-Master mit mattem Blatt.
Das Gehäuse ist im feinen Zustand. Vor kurzem durch meinen Experten erstmalig aufgearbeitet, da es sehr viel Hemdpolitur aufwies, zeigt es herrlich volle Hörner, feinste Proportionen, sowie messerscharfe Kanten und ein perfektes mattes Finish auf der Gehäuseoberseite.
Die Uhr war bei Ankauf unpoliert und mein Experte bekommt selbst bei minimalsten Materialabtrag ein perfektes Ergebnis hin. Des bedingt auch, dass wir leichte Tragespuren belassen. Diese sind somit in minimalster Form vorhanden, jedoch mit Lupe zu suchen.
Das herrliche matte GMT-Master Blatt ist im top Zustand. Es handelt sich um die erste Variante (MK1) welche perfekt zur Seriennummer passt. Mit 6,27 Millionen ist dies nämlich eine der ersten 16750 die jemals gebaut wurde. Die Produktion begann bei ca. 6,2 Millionen.
Der Zustand des Blattes ist, wie bereits erwähnt, top. Perfekter klarer Druck und die typisch leicht cremige Patina der Tritium Leuchtmasse zeichnen es aus. Die Zeiger sind natürlich ebenso original zur Uhr, im feinen Zustand und mit stimmiger Patina.
Die Lünette ist wunderbar scharf und das herrliche Pepsi Inlay (blueback) weist eine extrem coole Patina auf. Das rot ist herrlich ausgebleicht, Restfarbe ersichtlich mit einem coolen Metallic Look. Das hellblau gealterte Blau passt wunderbar dazu und ergibt ein feines Vintage Bild.
Diese tolle GMT kommt als DEUTSCHES Komplettpaket und wurde, Trommelwirbel, am 18.8.81 ^^ von Heinz Wipperfeld am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin verkauft.
Ich schreibe diese Zeilen übrigens gerade am Kurfürstendamm sitzend und überlege wie es hier wohl am 18.8.81 so war. Die Mauer war noch da und das Leben in dieser Stadt wohl gänzlich anders zu heute.
Übrigens sind die Papiere perfekt, inkl. grünem Aufkleber der alle Zertis dieser Zeit aus Deutschland kennzeichnet.
Neben den Papieren kommt die Uhr mit Originalbox inkl. Umkarton. Das Innenleben ging mal verloren, aber dafür habe ich für den richtigen Kunden auch kostenlosen Ersatz parat.
Ne GMT kommt immer gut am Jubilee dachte sich der Erstbesitzer und hat daher das Band einmalig gegen ein Jubilee-Band tauschen lassen. Das aktuelle 62510H Band kommt mit Schließencode CP12 (Random). Laut Info wurde es 2012 getauscht.
Zustand wunderbar mit 90% Restlebensdauer 😉
Fazit: NE GMT die Freude am Arm und in der Sammlung bereitet. Alleine wegen dem Datum 18.8.81 muss man die schon kaufen

German GMT-Master with a matt dial.
The case is in great condition. Recently polished by my expert for the first time, as it had a lot of sleeve polish, it shows wonderfully full lugs, the finest proportions, as well as razor-sharp edges and a perfect matt finish on the top of the case.
The watch was unpolished when it was bought and my expert creates a perfect result even with minimal material removal. This also means that we leave slight signs of wear. These are therefore available in the most minimal form.
The wonderful matt GMT-Master dial is in top condition. It is the first variant (MK1) which fits perfectly with the serial number. With 6.27 million, this is one of the first 16750 ever built. Production started at about 6.2 million.
As already mentioned, the condition of the dial is excellent. It is characterized by a perfectly clear print and the typically slightly creamy patina of the tritium lume material. The hands are of course just as original to the dial, in fine condition and with a harmonious patina.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp and the gorgeous Pepsi inlay (blueback) has an extremely cool patina. The red has faded wonderfully, residual color is visible with a cool metallic look. The light blue aged blue goes beautifully with it and gives a nice vintage charm.
This great GMT comes as a GERMAN full set and was sold, drum roll, on 18.8.81 ^^ by rolex authorized dealer Heinz Wipperfeld at Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.
By the way, I’m writing these lines while I’m sitting on Kurfürstendamm and wondering what it was like here on August 18, 1981. The berlin wall was still there and life in this city was probably completely different from today.
By the way, the papers are perfect, including the green sticker that identifies all certifications from Germany at this time.
In addition to the papers, the watch comes with the original box including the outer carton. The inner workings got lost, but I have a free replacement ready for the right customer.
A GMT always comes well on a Jubilee bracelet, thought the first owner and therefore got the bracelet exchanged for a Jubilee bracelet. The current 62510H bracelet comes with clasp code CP12 (Random). According to information it has been exchanged in 2012.

Conclusion: A GMT that brings joy to the wrist. Just because of the date 8/18/81 you have to buy it
