Description: Gorgeous and extremely rare early day-date with BIG LOGO bracelet.
The case is in remarkable condition. If you consider the age of the watch, we are now talking about more than 60 years, you will be amazed at how good this watch looks. Worn only a few times in its life on selected occasions, the case presents itself with wonderful proportions, a wonderful edge cut and a great matt finish on the top of the case.
The Day-Date dial in gold/champagne is in great condition with no damage whatsoever. It shows a typical minimal patina due to age, but is of outstanding quality compared to other dials of this time. Incidentally, this is also the rare “no lume” variant, i.e. the dial was delivered without lume material.
The Dauphine hands are identical to the dial in excellent condition. These are also “no lume” hands, perfectly matching the dial.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp and the tropic plexiglas without date magnifier gives the watch additional vintage charm.
The Jubilee bracelet, which collectors and connoisseurs will already have recognized, is a real highlight. It is a BIG logo bracelet, which can be recognized by the extremely large logo stamping in the clasp. Furthermore, the Jubilee bracelet is the extremely rare early version with hollow links.
The bracelet is 100% original, gorgeous and with clasp code 2/59, the ORIGINAL BRACELET for the watch.
Conclusion: An outstanding day date. Charm, fun to wear and collector’s value are perfectly combined here.
