Wonderful Paul Newman Daytona with three color black face dial in top condition. The case is in very good condition. Slightly polished in the past, it shows wonderful proportions, sharp chamfers, and top matte finish on top of the case. Minimum signs of wear are present but off course no deep scrachtes, dents or anything like that. The Highlight of this watch is off course the dial. A wonderful three color Paul Newman dial in really great condition. As you can see from the many macro pictures we’ve taken, all lume dots are full present and with great strong patina so they show a wonderful contrast to the white outer track. The subdials are like 99,9% perfekt. Bright white color, perfect print and almost no signs of aging at all. The white/silver outer track ist also great with very light signs of aging and so this definitely a TOP QUALITY Newman dial. Further the dial is the correct dial type version for a 67 Daytona. It’s the so called wider T Swiss T because the print of the t swiss t is wider as on later dial versions. The tritium hands are also in very nice condition with a bit lighter patina. The watch presents itself with a perfect condition service bakelit bezel. We mounted the bakelit bezel because we feel it’s gives the watch an even better look as the steel bezel. Off course the original steel bezel is part of the set and will be delivered with the watch. Also we mounted a wonderful NOS t21 superdomed to finish the look and make it a real VINTAGE BEAUTY. Believe it or not, the bracelet is also another highlight. It’s very rare early bracelet version of the 7835 folded oyster bracelet with solid 71N endlinks. Super rare and only built for one year, this bracelet is the perfect match to the case. Claps code 4/67 (full correct and original)
