The first CHECK goes to the case. Mega full thick lugs with the typical cut of the time. This is exactly how we want our 5513 subs. As the pictures show, the watch has often been worn and therefore has signs of wear and a sleeve polish. As soon as the watch is in your hand or on your wrist, the vintage charm immeditaley catches you. That’s why I do my job, digging up great authentic watches somewhere and offering them to you.
The MK1 dial is without weaknesses and with a magnificent patina which is important because many MK1 dials are very light, some even pure white. That’s cool too, but here the combination of case and dial is the COOL factor.
The hands are matching to the dial and are also in great condition.
The bezel is wonderfully sharp and the bezel inlay is a great MK3 inlay with gray/blue fading. A perfect match if you ask me. By the way, the pearl is light because, according to the original owner, it has been exchanged once in the early 90s. It cost him 10 dollars back then ^^
The 93150 Oyster bracelet is of course original to the watch and has the same patina as the case to it. The reference of the clasp code is VD for 1978/79, which fits perfectly to the watch.
