Description: Spanish Black. A wonderfully preserved Double Quick Day-Date with a black dial from sunny Spain.

The housing is perfect. Unpolished, it shows perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a beautiful matt finish on the top of the case. There are only minimal signs of wear. This watch was not even worn on Sundays, at most on public holidays – that’s how well preserved it is 😉

The completely intact green caseback sticker also testifies to the perfect quality of the watch.

The black Day-Date dial is equally perfect, with a wonderfully clear print and no damage. What’s particularly nice is that all the lume dots are perfectly intact and have acquired a beautiful vanilla patina. The combination with the black dial is perfect.

The hands are also in excellent condition, with a wonderfully harmonious patina to the dial. The bezel is razor-sharp and unpolished. The sapphir glas is perfect.

This stunning black 18238 comes from beautiful Spain. It has been sold on June 29, 1995, by the Rolex authorized dealer JOMIS in Alicante, Spain (LC 150).

The scope of delivery is truly outstanding. JOMIS took great care and stamped many parts of the scope of delivery, such as the outer box, etc. This way we know that this set was born exactly as it is. Nothing thrown together or anything like that. The original hang tag also tells us that in 1995, one had to pay 2,178,000.00 pesetas for such a beauty.

The 8385 President bracelet, just as the case, is unpolished and truly perfect. It shows no stretch and has a wonderfully preserved clasp crown. The bracelet has 22 links and, of course, is the original bracelet for the watch.

Conclusion: Outstanding quality and scope of delivery. One of my best Day-Date watches ever.
