Description: German bark Day-Date in great condition as a full set.
The case is in top condition. Recently carefully polished, it shows perfect proportions, razor-sharp edges and a wonderful matte finish on the top of the case. The watch has been rarely worn afterwards, so there are only minimal signs of wear and only in the form of micro-scratches.
The black day-date dial is in perfect condition with no weaknesses and impresses with its perfect contrast to the yellow gold case. The hands are also in great condition with a matching patina to the dial.
The bark bezel shows a wonderful structure, is not polished and only shows minor signs of wear.
The watch comes as a full set and has been sold by rolex authorized dealer Herbert Mayer in Augsburg in July 1985.
The scope of delivery includes: Box with outer carton(outer carton stickered) (18078 stickers!) Leather pouch Day-Date and Rolex Oyster description with matching date code Rolex guarantee from Herbert Meyer including green sticker on the side translation A revision invoice from an independent watchmaker from 2015.
The Borke President bracelet, just as the case, is in top condition with almost no stretch and only minor signs of wear. It comes with all 24 links and with clasp code I for 1984, this is the original bracelet for the watch.
