Description:Fine BARK Day-Date “the arab one”
The case is in very good condition. Full lugs, great edges and a very good matt finish are evidence of a great quality. Only light signs of wear here and actually nothing to be desired.
The golden sunray dial is in top condition. No imperfections and clear and present sunray visible. The tritium lume dots have aged to a nice and warm patina. The lume dots on 5 and 10 are showing only minimum loss of lume which is very hard to spot without loupe.
The tritium hands are original to the watch and dial, with a nice, harmonious patina.
The bezel, which is very important for a bark, has not been polished, but is wonderfully strong with only a light shirt polish and minor signs of wear.
This great bark Day-Date comes with arab date and weekday calendar and this gives her an extra nice look.
With a bark you have to pay attention to the bracelet. The 8385 President bracelet with bark finish is shown in great condition here with only a slight stretch. This is important because these links are extremely difficult to refurbish and that costs a lot of money.
As already mentioned, the condition here is top, with a top finish and almost no stretch. Furthermore, the bracelet comes with all 24 links and the cherry on top is of course the original bracelet with clasp code K1 for January 1986.
Conclusion: A fine bark with special features.
