Description: Beautiful 1803 Day-Date with silver pie-pan sunray cut dial.
The case is in clean, good condition. Worn in the past and certainly polished once, the proportions are still good, the edges are present and the matte finish on the top of the case is great.
The dial is a beautiful tritium dial with two special features.
Firstly, it is a so-called pie pan dial. This shape refers to the edge of the dial, which is tilted downwards and looks like an upside-down cake pan. Secondly, it is a sunray cut dial in which a matting finish moves from the center of the dial outwards.
Both features are beautiful and as the dial is silver, there is also a great contrast to the case. The condition is also very good, only a lume dot at 4 o’clock is missing.
The hands are matching tritium hands in very good condition. The bezel is still sharp and the plexi glas is great.
The watch comes on a leather strap and with a no name pin buckle in gold optic.
Conclusion: Beautiful Day-Date, great dial, top price.
