Matte 16750 from Egypt.
The case is in very good condition. Polished in the past, the lugs are nonetheless full with good edges and a clean matt finish on the top of the case. You could redraw the edges here again in order to have a perfect case, but the future owner of this great GMT can decide that for himself. We will gladly support him in this.
The wonderful MK1 dial is in great condition. The patina of the tritium lume has taken on a fine, slightly creamy patina and the print of the entire dial is wonderfully clear. Incidentally, the 16750 offered here is one of the first 16750 that has ever been produced. The transition from 1675 to 16750 took place in the serial number range of 6.2 million and this 6.251 million watch is therefore truly one of the first. Of course, the matt dial and above all the MK1 variant is absolutely original to the watch.
The tritium hands are also in very good condition with a consistent patina. The second hand has a slight crack, which we professionally fixed from the back. So there is no risk of crumbling.
The bezel is super sharp and the blueback Pepsi inlay shows great aging.
This great 16750 will delight its new owner as a full set. It comes from Egypt and has been sold by rolex authorized dealer HUOUHANI & Co. on November 5th, 1981.
It’s also cool that the original box, both booklets, calendar, etc. have been preserved. A fine, rare set.
The 78360 Oyster bracelet is in very good condition. Light stretch and minimal signs of wear make it perfectly wearable. The clasp code is R9 for September 1993, so it’s a little younger than the watch.
Conclusion: Great Egyptian GMT in fine condition and set
